International Students' Day

The international Students day was well celebrated this year in our study zone branches.

The celebrations in Al-Mahatta, Homs started with a book exhibition in cooperation with "Naham" team, followed by a musical evening of two famous singers alongside with two well-known musicians and also an art gallery with the participation of Study Zone students. The study zone team did not forget to encourage and honor the recently graduated students.

Meanwhile the Mouzeina Study zone attracted youths from the surrounding villages. More than 70 students were gathered in Mouzeina to celebrate “Art”. A paintings’ exhibition, a photography and a wooden sculptures exhibition were organized. All these activities were accompanied with the beautiful touch created by the performance of some students playing instruments and singing.

In Damascus the gathering started early; 40 of our students participated in a day of challenges and competitions prepared by Study Zone team between 10 groups of students.

The groups competed in several games (sports-theatre-mystery-science and teamwork) with a lot of enthusiasm and joy.

Even though it’s a celebration originally commemorating the Czech universities’ dreadful events in 1939, but it may also be an incentive to remind students that the difficulties may face us in every time and place, and that it is possible to overcome them and look forward to a better future.
