Micro Projects program in Homs!

On its second month, the micro projects program in Homs city has already made its name in the community!

Since October 2020, more than 180 people have applied. Project ideas differ in types and varieties, but what’s certain is the urgent need that has appeared in the community for livelihood projects in recent times, especially since most families have either had their businesses damaged or been displaced or suffered from moral losses.

It was a new concept for people, no other initiatives that support the livelihoods of people by empowering them to start business have been around in the city of Homs. But with no time, the local community became more enthusiastic about this idea, rather than relying on cash aids.

The first project was approved on the 12th of December, and since then 22 projects entered the implementation process.

While the beneficiaries were going through the new experience, the Micro projects team was also gaining experience managing the whole process based on the nature of the local community’s needs. Hoping that all the accumulated hard work and effort will eventually show off in the successful projects that will deeply impact the life of families in Homs city.
