Hope Center team meeting

After several years of working in different fields of service in projects such as Study Zone, DISC, Micro projects, Family to Family and homework Room, it was time to assemble all the parts of the picture together through an organized meeting for all Hope center family from all around Syria. 

The team that within the last year, has grown very fast to become a family of more than 120 members had the chance to meet, get to know about the different projects and exchange experiences throughout the first day of the meeting, which was devoted to discussing the goals, orientation and future vision of the organization and the most important identifying the points in which performance could be improved. 

with the Lantin church’s blessing and the presence of our partners; the Aid to the church in need, the Hungarian consulate and the sponsor of this particular gathering the l’Œuvre d’Orient the second day started with a conclusion of the first day and the team was headed to the latin Church in Bab Touma to celebrate the holy mass to pray for God to bless the work of the organization whose mission is to serve Syrian families. 

To seize the occasion, after the mass the Hope center administration invited the team and the partners to celebrate the opening of the new DDISC youth supporting center in Bab-Charqi and the launch of the micro projects program in Damascus city after its huge success in Aleppo and Homs.  

“Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Matthew 5:15

The hope center has always been working to light a candle of hope and light in each and every family’s home and gathering to share this Hope as a one united family has been so important to motivate the team and orient them towards their purpose and mission.
