Our primary interest is aiding Christians through financing their own micro-projects that would provide them with income to preserve their dignity and alleviate the calamities of the crisis.

The team at Hope Center reviews and evaluates the projects and the extent to which the applicant has planned for his/her idea. If accepted, the center starts providing funds for the project to initiate.

Besides aiding Christians in need, this initiative aims for reviving the city of Aleppo that has lost most of its economic structure.

Children's Wear Shop


Jamil is a single man who is living with his sister and his nephews in their parents’ house. His brother and his brother’s wife were separated and each one of them traveled to a county and they left their children here, so Jamil had to look after them. Jamil has a clothes shop and during the war he couldn't afford enough goods for his shop because of the economic rescission, so he decided to work in a workshop, but it was too hard for him, so he wants to return to his shop but he needs support to buy requirements for it. This project will help him in aiding his nephews and will guarantee the continuity of his own shop.

Cake factory


Ibrahim is a married man who has a little daughter. He lives with is parents in his parents’ house. His father is a janitor in an office. Ibrahim has been working in a cake factory for almost 4 years, but his salary is very low, so he wants to start his own cake factory. “my income is somehow fine for now because my daughter is young, but a year from now she will start going to school which means that more expanses will be required and honestly I will not be able to afford them” He has got enough experience in this field as he has been working in a cake factory for 4 years. This project will guarantee a better future for his daughter and his whole family.

Manufacturing Rubber Molds


George is a single man, living in his parents’ house with his brother, they both work to provide themselves with daily livelihood needs. He has been working in manufacturing rubber molds for more than 15 years and he has a great experience in this field. His recent employer is exploiting him by making him work too hard, and giving him a low salary (not more than $100 a month), so he wants to quit this work. George wants to start his own project in the same field that he has been working in for a long time, aspiring to become an independent person.

Fixing a taxi


George is a married man who has 4 children 3 daughters and a son. He has a taxi but the taxi is not working properly because it needs to be fixed. However, he does not have enough money to fix it. All that he needs is to get this car fixed because it is the only source of income to provide a decent life for 6 people. By having his car fixed he will be able to work perfectly and provide a good standard of living for his own family.

Packaging and ironing workshop


Elias is a young man who lives with his family. He was discharged from his military service because he had a problem in his back. During the war his father lost his work in the mall and their house was damaged by a missile which later was fixed by the church. Now he is working in an ironing workshop as a worker, but his income is not sufficient, so he wants to open an ironing workshop because he has a good experience in this kind of work. Having this project will change his life entirely and will make him an independent person.

Taxi


Abed is a married man who has two children. He was displaced from his land and home in Al Yakoubiyeh village and later in Aleppo he was also displaced from Sheikh Maksud to Al-Midan. he wants to buy a taxi to work on because of the hard-economic situation, and because he lost his work in Bustan Al Basha area. he had a brain damage so he cannot work anymore in his job as a blacksmith. He rented a car to work on but it costs him a lot, so by this project he will be an independent person and will be able to afford a better life for his family.

Bitros Orfahli is a married man who has a son in the eleventh grade and a daughter in the sixth grade. His wife is unemployed and he is the only provider for his family. He is a carpenter.
